The History Council of NSW’s program of prizes and awards foster excellence in Australian historical writing, showcase and reward best practice, and thereby advance and promote public understanding and appreciation of history. The Council also supports Arts NSW in its administration of the Premier’s History Awards and the NSW Indigenous History Fellowship.
