Made in Botany: The History of Manufacturing in the City of Botany Bay
Organisation:
City of Botany Bay Library and Museum
History Week Event Type:
Exhibition
What did you eat for breakfast today? If the answer is a Kellogg’s cereal you might like to know it was made in Botany. Since 1928, the company has been producing their cereals right here. Come see our collection of old cereal boxes and factory photos of this well-known company. Be warned however, not everything in this exhibition is fit for consumption. Many of Botany’s early industries processed animal parts one would never put, let alone think about, at the dinner table!
