Join the History Council of NSW

We invite individuals and organisations with an interest in history to join the History Council of NSW and enjoy these benefits:

• the opportunity to strengthen the voice of the History Council of NSW, supporting history in your community;
• the opportunity to upload your events/exhibitions or publications onto the online History Council of NSW events calendar and inclusion of your events/exhibitions and publications in e-newsletters to members (subject to discretion of the office);
• the ability to submit issues affecting the practice of history for consideration by the General Council (subject to discretion of the President);
• invitations to special events, including the Annual History Lecture, the NSW Premier's History Awards and History Council of NSW forums;
• information on History Week activities;
• the HC Bulletin and regular email updates, keeping you informed of news, current issues and events;
• nomination and voting rights in elections for the Council’s General Council.

Membership Levels There are six levels of membership.

• Corporate Supporter
• Corporate – Large (Major institutions, government bodies, university departments
• Corporate – Medium (Regional organisations, professional organisations
• Corporate – Small (Voluntary and local organisations)
• Individual
• Individual Concession
