Support Us

The History Council of NSW aims to ensure that history, in all its diverse forms, is an important part of the cultural life of the people and communities of New South Wales.

We provide services and programs, which aim to build capacity within the history sector and showcase the importance of history. There are two ways to support our work – become a member and/or donate.

Our corporate members encompass cultural, academic and government institutions, local libraries, regional and professional organisations and community and local historical societies.

We also offer individual and student membership for people engaged professionally or through study in the practice of history, such as academics, museum professionals, librarians, archivists and professional historians.

Make a Donation

The History Council of NSW welcomes your support. Even the smallest donation can help us achieve our key goals and support the development of the history sector in NSW. Donations of $2.00 or more are tax-deductible.

Donate online via our GiveNow profile, or if you would like to avoid credit card fees email us at admin@historycouncilnsw.org.au and we will provide bank transfer details. If you would prefer to send a cheque please make it payable to History Council of NSW Public Fund and post to PO Box R1737, Royal Exchange NSW 1225. Please provide a return address so we can mail a receipt.
